Greetings!
Frankly, I am curious about this blog-thang and thought that I would explore and experiment a bit. Yours Truly has managed a joke list for years (there should be a link to the HumourList on the left there somewhere) and has been a bit of a presence on the 'net for what seems like forever. I've been around long enough to see the technologies and environment change and we appear to be at another crossroads today as blogs take over and newsgroups are dying off rapidly as a form of sharing meaningful discussion.
Welcome! Hopefully we can share some tales of motorcycling, travel, and just all around positive living here during the next several months.

At BuccaneerPress.com you can watch as I struggle to get a publishing company off of the ground. That effort is also going to be a multiple beer discussion. My last several months have been dedicated to getting my first book into print. At this point it is looking very, very good (I was at a bike club meeting last night, was showing some of the guys a photo of them that I was going to use, and everyone wanted a copy -- so that sounds like a positive sign) but I am right on the border of having sample copies available for Bike Week. Exposure at Daytona Bike Week isn't critical to the sales effort, but it sure would have been nice to have that put together a month ago so that I could be out there promoting the book. Oh well ... ;)

Wish I were younger and could motorcycle around Florida with your bike buddies. Since I'm an old phart, I'll never get to do it.
